You both write great stuff. I completely agree with you. Plus, when I’m having a really bad day, I start out by allowing myself to be like that with it. I often have a «phase» for some kind of podcast or channel on you tube that is very engaging. So I allow myself to make dinner and listen to my favorite thing. In addition, I give myself a «mission» that if I feel very bad on a given day and I am not effective in any activities or work – I set myself to do only one important thing. I don’t overload myself with tasks, but I also try not to lie down all day. For example, I give myself a few hours of lying down and then focus on doing this one task. And it usually works. The mission titled «Only One Important Thing Today» is working. For everyone, something important may be different. This could be: sending a long and difficult email, doing some household chores or going to one important place. It’s enough. There are days when we can do up to five things – but as long as I feel weaker – I allow myself to do so.
